The School of Yoga makes it easy and accessible to learn, develop as a student and teacher. We believe through our vigorous, concentrated teaching techniques we will provide exceptional teachers that can and will lead the industry. Learning and teaching yoga should be because of one’s passion to grow and continue the dialogue of openness and sharing. We believe through the practice and teaching of yoga we can achieve and help guide others in achieving balance, endurance, and serenity. Have you ever wanted to teach yoga, learn the ancient art of Yoga, enhance your practice and develop skills to become a great Yogi?  This program is a transformation of the body, mind and soul. Our YTT programs are for aspiring teachers and for all students with a desire to learn more about Yoga theory, practice, and philosophy. We believe every student is a teacher for tomorrow!
 
The program deepens personal and professional knowledge and practice. Learn the art of art of yoga with our experience and knowledgeable experts. All you need is a deep study with our loving, caring and understanding teachers and time to practicing to become an amazing Yogi and Yoginis of tomorrow.
 
Acquire understanding of Yoga Philosophy, learn the art of teaching, asana; learn to assist, adjust students and plunge into a deep and rich practice. This program gives you the tools and language to reach others in an effective manner. Join the School of Yoga's Fall Program designed around traditional Yoga Ashtanga from the ancient text Rig Veda to designed to enhance practice, training and expand students knowledge in every aspect of yoga beyond the mat.
 
Start the transformation on and off the mat whether you are relatively new to Yoga and wish to advance your knowledge, The School of Yoga is a Registered Yoga School through Yoga Alliance and therefore your certification will be nationally and internationally recognized. Students graduating will qualify to apply to the national recognized yoga organization at the 200 and 500 level; will be listed on our register and possibility of working at any participating studios.
 
There is an art to teaching and weaving together the tapestry that becomes an elevated Yoga class! This specific program presents the exact skills a true teacher needs to reach students in an authentic, aligned way. Yoga offers a map, tools, and techniques for healing and transformation in all aspects of your life. We will give this map to you in a very accessible manner, so that whether you plan on teaching right away or not, you have an abundance of information.
 
The Teacher Training Programs are designed around traditional Yoga Ashtanga from the ancient text Rig Veda. The School of Yoga is dedicated in promoting the practice and art of yoga, by offering and providing Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga training to all that desire to expend knowledge, teach others and enhance own practice. The 200, 250 and 500 Hour Programs are all students who desire to learn and grow. Our purpose is to assist further students’ personal practice off and on the mat; give future teachers the ability to provide their pupil guidance and become the best teaches for that pupil.  We prepare aspiring Yogi and Yoginis Teachers to teach the art of uniting the mind, body and spirit at health facilities, corporate, yoga studios and even private sessions. 
 
Completion of Program: Students receive letter of completion and Certification that can be used to register with Yoga Alliance at the 200 and 500 RYT level to share with prospective employers; option to be listed on website, possibility of working at any participating Studio locations upon graduation The School of Yoga trains teachers to become well rounded teacher, mentors and a channel of knowledge and understanding. Our days together are mixed with in-depth study (lectures, philosophy etc...) and practice (asana, clinics etc...) 
 
An example of a day in our 200 Foundational Program would look like: Day 1: 5 pm - 6:30 pm  Full Practicum (Yoga Flow Practicum); 30 minute break 6:30- 7pm; 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.  pm in-depth study of Yoga Anatomy;; Day 2: Asana I: 12 pm - 2:30 pm Asana Clinic (break down of standing poses); 2:30 pm- 4:30 pm Full Yoga Practice; 4:30-5:30 pm Lunch break; 5:30 - 7 pm Asana practice and lectures;; Day 3: Yoga Philosophy (the Sutras, yoga life); 12:00- 2:30;  Lunch Break; 2:30- 3:30 pm Full Practicum; 3:30 - 5 pm; Asana Clinic (down of  Seated/Twist poses) 5 pm - 7 pm.  
 
Course objectives are deigned to:
  •  Acquire understanding of Yoga Philosophy and lifestyle
  • Learn the art of teaching yoga and essential principles
  • Develop, enhance and deepen a mindfulness practice
  • In depth analysis and practice of Asana and sequence poses
  • Learn how to structure and create a cohesive well-rounded class
  • Learn how to integrate postures with the breath and sequence poses 
  • Gain Professional development skills to enhance career
  • Intense Practicum and assistance training
  • Pranayama and Meditation Practicum
  • Receive physical adjustments, learn to assist
  • Practice in technique Training with had on adjustments, assistance and more...
            
Curriculum:
There are a required national minimum numbers of hours that must be completed to become a RYT with Yoga Alliance. We province you with a comprehensive program covering cross sections of information that all Yoga Teachers should have and more: Intense hands on asana study and practice; Yoga history, philosophy  (Yoga Sutures, Bhagavad Gita and vast literature of yoga), anatomy and physiology; yoga business and ethics; yoga service; the subtle body (Chakras and nadis); Design class (art to teaching and weaving together an elevated Yoga class, sequencing, teaching tips); Develop a meditation practice; Learn principles of pranayama, bandha, kyria, chanting; also the course includes: a manual, group classes and mentoring sessions with participating locations
Prerequisite: Current CPR/AED Certification (if not will have CPR Certification by conclusion of Training); Short summary stating reason desire to attend The School of Yoga Teacher Training Program, if applying to 500 hr must have completion of 200 or 250 Hour Teacher Training Program
Course Requirements: Attend all training contact hours (if unable to attend a class must see Director for options); completion of all Homework/assignments and projects; Passing Practical and Written Assessment and completion of all non-contact Practicum hours

This is a foundational program for serious students of yoga and aspiring Yoga Teachers. Students will begin the process of transforming their lives on and off the mat by deepening practice and understanding of yoga; acquire and understand yoga philosophy teachings, practices, students will learn to create and structure cohesive session. This program is for aspiring teachers and for all students with a desire to learn more about Yoga theory, practice, and philosophy. All you need is a deep study with our loving, caring and understanding teachers and time to practicing to become an amazing Yogi of tomorrow. 
This Program is designed to enhance practice, training and expand students knowledge in every aspect of yoga beyond the mat. The 250 Hour Training Program is a foundational and advance program for serious students of yoga and aspiring Yoga Teachers that prepares you to start teaching and develop own practice. Students will deepen practice and understanding of yoga; acquire and understand yoga philosophy teachings, practices; students will learn to create and structure cohesive session and develop long lasting relationships with fellow students, mentors and teachers. The School of Yoga not only trains teachers to become a teacher but to be a mentor and channel of knowledge and understanding
  
This is an advance study program for serious students open to possibilities and ready to continue the transformation process and build on material learned in 200 or 250 Hour Training Program. Student will expand upon that knowledge to a deeper practice; this course is a vagaries study and training program. Students learn to master their crafts and and enhance love for yoga. This course is designed to nourish and develop students’ style, teaching skills and working with wide range of clients.

250 YTT: $1700- $2700
500 YTT: $2800-$3800 (graduates of School of Yoga receive $100 discount off)
